Hendredenny Park Primary School
Mr Paul Hogg of Craft Wales Ltd has been working at Hendredenny Park Primary School helping enhance the outdoor learning environment. His work is of a very high quality.
He has made some fabulous wooden structures for pupils to play in and for them to learn in an ‘outdoor classroom’.
He had built a stage which the children love performing on and we have held our first outdoor concert in July 2008. He very generously transformed the stage into a ‘castle’ completely free of charge.
The story telling chair has enabled pupils to develop confidence in speaking and listening and in story writing.
While working on site Mr Hogg and his staff were always courteous and totally professional. He was very aware of the children’s safety.
He was always taking time to explain to the children what he was making and how. Teachers were able to use his expertise in planning lessons.
I have already recommended him to several fellow head teachers.
